Hi! I'm the founder of SUpost, the trusted online marketplace for the university communities. We're the go-to spot where university students buy and sell stuff, find roommates, score concert tickets, hire tutors, and connect with each other. Think of us as the friendly, university-only version of Facebook Marketplace, OLX or Craigslist — except people actually trust us.

We serve 131,000 users every year, we're profitable, and we've been around for over a decade. Now we're ready for our next adventure: expanding to more elite universities around the world — and we want you on the team to help make it happen.

This isn't a role where you'll be stuck in spreadsheets all day (though we do love a good spreadsheet). You'll be working directly with me, the founder, on the actual fun stuff that makes a startup grow.

What You'll Actually Do (the fun part)

	<li>Business development — help us figure out which universities to launch in next and how to win them over</li>
	<li>Customer discovery — talk to real students, learn what they love (and hate), and bring those insights back to shape the product</li>
	<li>Product design input — share ideas on how the website should look, feel, and work for students</li>
	<li>Campus outreach — help us reach students at new universities and grow our community</li>
	<li>Founder collaboration — brainstorm, strategize, and execute together on growth experiments</li>
	<li>You'll learn what it actually takes to scale an online marketplace — not in theory, but by doing it.</li>

Who We Need

We need a Pricing and Quotation Specialist who can move fast and think commercially.

Someone who can turn around accurate rates and generate winning quotations within SLA—keeping the sales team equipped to close deals. You should be confident in sourcing rates, computing charges, and building competitive quotes with speed and precision.

If you thrive under pressure, manage volume with accuracy, and understand that every quote drives revenue—this role is for you.

 

What You'll Do:

	<li>Rates &amp; Pricing Management - Take ownership of gathering, analyzing, and maintaining freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, and suppliers. Evaluate rate competitiveness and ensure pricing is aligned with market conditions and client requirements.</li>
	<li>Quotation Development - Prepare accurate and competitive quotations by computing end-to-end charges (freight, surcharges, duties, and other costs). Structure pricing strategically to support the sales team in winning business while protecting margins.</li>
	<li>Commercial Support to Sales - Work closely with the sales team to translate client requirements into tailored pricing solutions. Provide recommendations on rate strategy, cost breakdowns, and service options.</li>
	<li>Client Coordination - Serve as a key point of contact for quotation-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and a smooth customer experience.</li>
	<li>Contract &amp; Vendor Management - Coordinate with carriers and partners to validate rates, clarify terms, and ensure all commercial agreements are accurate and up to date. Support renegotiations based on market trends and volume opportunities.</li>
