PT Marga Nusantara Jaya menjadi distributor resmi PT Konimex sejak 28 September 1985. Sejarah awal terbentuknya PT Marga Nusantara Jaya dimulai pada tanggal 8 Maret 1980, dimana pemerintah mengeluarkan keputusan tentang pemisahan antara badan usaha produksi dengan badan usaha distribusi. Hal tersebut dijawab oleh PT Konimex dengan mendirikan sebuah badan usaha distribusi dengan nama PT Sinar Intermark. 

PT Sinar Intemark bertindak sebagai penyalur utama produk-produk Konimex dengan cakupan seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Senada dengan berkembangnya perusahaan, PT Konimex juga meluaskan bidang usahanya ke bidang industri permen dan makanan dengan nama Nimm’s untuk permen dan Sobisco untuk makanan. 

Seiring berkembangnya wilayah cakupan distribusi, pelanggan, jumlah serta jenis produk, maka Konimex merasa perlu untuk menambah satu lagi perusahaan distribusi. Pada tanggal 28 September 1985, Bapak Djoenaedi Joesoef membeli perusahaan distribusi bernama PT Marga Nusantara Jaya. PT Marga Nusantara Jaya mulai aktif menjalankan usahanya di bawah payung PT Konimex pada tanggal 1 Maret 1986. Pembelian tersebut menjadikan PT Konimex memiliki dua perusahaan distributor yang pembagiannya adalah PT Marga Nusantara Jaya sebagai distributor produk-produk non-farmasi (food and candy) dan PT Sinar Intemark sebagai distributor produk-produk farmasi. 

Tahun 2007 merupakan tahun yang penting bagi Konimex Group, PT Konimex memutuskan untuk melakukan desain-ulang area distribusi dan pembagian jenis produk yang selama ini telah diterapkan terhadap kedua perusahaan distribusinya. PT Sinar Intemark diberi tanggung jawab untuk mendistribusikan seluruh produk, baik food maupun farmasi, di wilayah Indonesia bagian Timur. Sedangkan, PT Marga Nusantara Jaya mendistribusikan semua produk, baik food maupun farmasi, di wilayah Indonesia bagian Barat. 

Tahun 2013, PT Sinar Intemark digantikan perannya oleh PT Marga Nusantara Jaya, dimana PT Sinar Intemark sudah tidak menjadi distributor dari produk PT. Konimex dan seluruh distributor produk dilakukan oleh PT Marga Nusantara Jaya. PT Konimex hingga saat ini memiliki predikat baik di kalangan perusahaan bidang farmasi, makanan, permen dan natural product berskala nasional yang memiliki jaringan 52 cabang di hampir semua kota besar utama di Indonesia dengan dukungan ratusan armada distribusi 

Tahun 2019, seluruh cabang PT Marga Nusantara Jaya telah mendapat sertifikat CDOB, sebagai salah satu syarat resmi untuk bisa menjadi distributor Farmasi. Selain itu, di tahun tersebut, PT Marga Nusantara Jaya menjadi distributor multiprinciple dan mulai mendistribusikan alat kesehatan, selain Farmasi, Natural Product dan Makanan.
