User Interface (UI) Designer  

Are you passionate about empowering small business and hard working people?

• We are looking for an aspiring designer to join our team as the Inhouse UI Ninja! You'll be taking ownership over UI design of a product that has one mission: to digitalize the way we are running the laundry business. You will be working on web and mobile application used to empower and enhance the laundry business and the life of everyone in it.

Job Summary

• As the UI Ninja, one of your main responsibilities is to understand the myriad of user behaviors, expectations and our industry working process and then translating it to the UI design and experiences that is easy to use, creates delight, and help our user to get the most of our app.

Responsibilities

• Continually creating and proposing UI improvement for the web/mobile apps to make our app more engaging, easier to use, easy understand and more importantly make people happy! In Ahlijasa, we believe User Interface as a process -there is always a room for improvement.
• Collaborative research with the Product team, to uncover user needs, user pain points, what delight them, and then translate those into wireframe and mockups for product and engineering team. In Ahlijasa, we believe User Interface as learning - there is always something that we can learn from our users and industries.
• Work with product, marketing and engineering team to create design guidelines, best practices and standards that can improve the quality of our process and product as a whole.

Requirements

• Comfortable to learn new design tools such as Sketch App, Marvel, Adobe XD, and Zeplin
• Have experiences in working with Adobe Illustrator/CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop.
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
• Have an eye for details, and a great sense of design
• Passionate about solving laundry industries problem and empowering small business and blue collar worker.
• Willing to relocate to work at our Tangerang (Indonesia) offices.
