Product Design Lead  

As a Product Design Lead, you will manage all aspects of the product design process, from research and ideation to visualizing the concepts into a live prototype. You will collaborate closely with the stakeholders and product management team to ensure the design output meets the needs of the business and customers.

As a team lead, you must possess good collaboration skills, partnering with multiple divisions to develop product solutions that meet business objectives and user goals. The ability to nurture and develop your team member to help them reach the next level is a must.

In addition, you are expected to be up-to-date with the latest developments in the product design and technology industries, and perform a highly-proficient skill in analyzing and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• You will lead the product design team in creating product design development that meets the user’s needs
• Organize design sprint workshops with agendas that promote creative problem solving to the stakeholders
• Regularly plan and conduct user research and usability test session to validate user problems and design solutions
• Analyze UX research results and synthesize insights to create solutions based on your findings
• Oversee the development of a design project, design concepts, and prototypes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Review final design results and prototype to give constructive input to the product design team
• Provide guidance on issues related to product design, development, and deployment by conducting regular design reviews
• Provide design performance and performance review feedback to the product design team
• Ability to trust product designer talents and to delegate authority, show the willingness to work comfortably with others
• Always find a way to improve workflow between the product design team with the internal stakeholders like the product management team, and developer team

• 5+ years work experience in UI/UX design industry with at least 2 years experience in a leadership position
• Has a strong user-centric mindset and empathy to customer’s goals and pain points
• A portfolio that showcases a deep understanding of design thinking methodology
• A track record of mentoring a team of talented product designers
• Has effective communication & interpersonal skills, including negotiation, give constructive feedback, lead a presentation, and managing expectations
• Has an eye for details and an organized nature, highly motivated to solve problems, and the ability to calculate potential risks while anticipating unintended consequences
• Fluent in English communications (verbal and written)
• Have experience in using and building a design system
• Proficient in using digital design tools and resource/project management tools
• Love to share your knowledge with your peers
• Has an understanding of the health care industry in Indonesia
