Shopify and eCommerce Development

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work to design, develop, and maintain AVA Online websites and platforms. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects, especially for AVA Online Clients and Partners. 

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, Jquery and other applicable technologies
• Knowledgeable in CMS Platforms such as Shopify and Wordpress
• Knowledgeable in marketing platform such as MailChimp 
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Manage the visual identity — all pages of the website and mobile version
• Be flexible to take on other web development related tasks for a startup company

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of Shopify or Wordpress and it’s language
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Basic or Advance knowledge of Adobe Creatives such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe UX, etc. 
• Basic Knowledge in UI/UX platform such as Sketch is an advantage. 
• Basic Knowledge in advanced javascript libraries and frameworks is an advantage. 
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
