Job Description
- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage
- Performs on going performance tuning of the database instances
- Administers all database objects, include tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
- Installation, configuration & upgrade SQL Server and any other tools that access the databases
- Plan and implements backup and recovery of the production database
- Implements and enforces security for all of the databases (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
- Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database
- Monitoring & Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases
- Provide Monthly report of all database activity
- Manage communication with product principal related to the technical aspect delivery
- Manage Batch Job Processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Oracle DB, Oracle Application Server
- Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Have knowledge and experienced on SQL Server Integration Services
- Experience in performance tuning, database replication, and T-SQL or other scripting language would be an advantage
- Having knowledge in Window Server environment
- Team Player, problem solver and analytical
- Able to communicate in English would be an advantage
