Design Associate  

• Work under the guidance of the UI Design Manager to collaborate with the UI and Product Teams in delivering project requirements.
• Contribute to the creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices.
• Use a variety of methods to conceptualize and document design decisions including sketches, graphic designs, background images, iconography, banners, storyboards and animation flows.
• Design graphical representation of data according to UI requirements.
• Ensuring brand consistency throughout various Product Development projects.
• Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment requiring independent self-direction with a proclivity for team collaboration and open communication.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing on design elements, based on the UI concepts developed for the product.
• Pixel Perfect! Attention to detail almost to the level of obsessiveness!

As a Member of the UI Design Team, you will work closely with fellow team members in addition to the Product and Engineering Teams to conceptualize and implement graphic design that meets Product Development strategies from concept to completion. The role requires specialized knowledge in graphic design - such as 2D illustrations, promotional banners and iconography styles. While keeping abreast of the design landscape, you will inspire teams to push boundaries of what is possible.

This position is full-time and based in our Makati office.

Education & Experience

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Self-trained individuals with at least 1 year of experience are also accepted.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• Proficient in vector designing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator), Photoshop and Figma.
• Proven ability in the design of typography, iconography, color, texture, layout, graphics and overall web design.
• Strong portfolio of creative design projects.

• Highly creative and has a limitless imagination in data interpretation to graphic design and animated format.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and has an organized workflow.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing - including ability to define and articulate the design.
