Job Description
- Process payments to vendors and/or service providers accurately in accordance with LFUG GOC policies ensuring that all payments are authorized with proper approvals and properly documented;
- Monitor payables and observe terms of payment for each vendor/service provider and ensure that no long outstanding accounts are unpaid or no outstanding issues are unresolved;
- Ensure no errors or overpayments are made to vendors; Any errors should be corrected immediately;
- Ensure proper charging of account per company, per vendor and per budget line;
- Recommend, establish procedures and institute controls to deter fraud, falsification, illegal or invalid claims that may result to erroneous or overpayments;
- Coordinate with suppliers/service providers on deductions made to billings, taxes withheld and reconciliation of outstanding accounts;
- Ensure compliance on the directions set out by the Head of the team in order to achieve common goals;
- Contribute to the team savings, process improvements or resolution of issues;
- Foster hard work, dedication and commitment to work and inspire colleagues by adhering to company policies, office norms and work ethics as required by the nature of the assigned job;
- Others that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or similar degree
- At least 1 year experience in the same capacity preferred
- Good analytical skills and advanced Microsoft office skills
- Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Need to be detail-oriented and good with basic mathematical calculations
