Job Description
- The Business Compliance Assistant partners with the Business Compliance Officer in overseeing the various regulatory processes related to the retail operations of the Company.
- These include constantly monitoring close to eighty (80) [and counting] business permits, lease contracts and tax dues corresponding to all Mia Maison branches nationwide, and ensuring these are continually up-to-date.
- Moreover, the Business Compliance Assistant allots the budgetary requirements necessary to implement the aforementioned job scope.
- Occasional field work is expected especially when the Business Compliance Assistant aids the regular accounting personnel / messengers in business permit assessments.
- The Business Compliance Department is an amalgamation of the permits, licensing & regulatory functions of the accounting department, and the filing & monitoring duties of the operations division.
Minimum Qualifications
- Works efficiently under pressure;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Effective multi-tasker
- Willing to do occasional field work;
- Preferably with experience as an executive assistant;
