Job Description
- Building and managing the accounting processes of the Consumer Credit Company (interest recognition, ECL, credit loss provisioning, etc.)
- Setting up the risk and compliance management framework of the business
- Managing and growing the accounting team
- Execute and evaluate the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time
- Preparing management accounts
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of working experience in the accounting field, ideally in the Consumer Finance sector (Financial Institution, Lending Company, Fintech, etc.)
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree, preferable a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and general taxation rules
- Tools: Advanced MS Excel, knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus
- Analytical and strong problem solving skills
