Fleet & Passenger Services Officer  

Route Planning and Driver Management:

• Review daily vehicle requests and meticulously plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
• Maintain and update the service vehicle database, ensuring accurate information on vehicle capabilities and maintenance schedules.
• Analyze transportation needs and efficiently assign routes to qualified drivers.
• Clearly communicate trip details, including pick-up and drop-off locations, timeframes, and special instructions, to drivers.
• Monitor driver progress and proactively address any delays or unforeseen circumstances.

Communication and Customer Service:

• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and passengers, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Document and follow up on driver and passenger feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure satisfaction.

Collaboration and Cost Management:

• Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments such as Motorpool, Purchasing, and other service handlers to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct regular transportation expense analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop improvement plans to optimize efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to transportation logistics.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's transportation needs. You will be the point person for ensuring exceptional service for both drivers and passengers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field.
• Proven ability to plan and optimize routes efficiently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software (a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
