IT Infrastructure Specialist at Corporate IT&IS  

1. Lead a team of engineers in developing IT infrastructure architecture (servers, networks, storage)—including conceptual, logical, and physical designs—along with documentation, test plans, and risk assessments to ensure a robust architecture aligned with corporate strategy.
2. Lead the analysis, design, troubleshooting, and implementation of network architecture to meet business needs.
3. Manage and optimize storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS), including capacity planning, tiering, and performance monitoring.
4. Mentor engineers to build a strong and qualified engineering team.
5. Evaluate cost analyses and vendor comparisons for large projects to ensure cost and operational efficiency and assess the feasibility of various solution approaches.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, system architecture diagrams, and disaster recovery procedures.
7. Conduct infrastructure capacity planning, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth.
8. Oversee change management, backup, and disaster recovery processes to minimize downtime and maintain data integrity.
9. Implement and maintain system and network security, including patching, configuring, and monitoring routers, switches, firewalls, and servers, and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
10. Coordinate with other teams (application, support, security) and report infrastructure status regularly to superiors.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, security).
3. Prior team leadership experience is required, with a minimum background as a team leader or supervisor.
4. Have a certifications in CCNA/CCNP, MCSE or equivalent, Security+, CEH, or OSCP would be preffered.

Technical Skills:

Server:

• Proficient in server administration (Windows Server and/or Linux), including installation, configuration, hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Experienced with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox), including provisioning, resource management, and HA/clustering.
• Solid understanding of Webserver, Mailserver, DNS, DHCP, and other supporting server services.
• Familiar with server performance and capacity monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, or equivalent).

Network:

• Strong understanding of routing/switching architecture and configuration (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent).
• Experienced in firewall management, VPN, and network segmentation.

Storage :

• Experienced in managing storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS), including provisioning, tiering, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam) and retention/replication strategies to support business-required RTO/RPO.
• Solid understanding of capacity planning and long-term cost optimization for storage.

Security:

• Strong understanding of system and network security principles: hardening, patch management, access control, and monitoring (SIEM or equivalent).
• Preferred: experience or working knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) whether conducting, coordinating, or following up on remediation of findings.
• Preferred: familiarity with Red Team/Blue Team exercise concepts for continuous security improvement.
