Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the maintenance of electrical and control equipment by conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation. The position is also responsible for conducting system improvement for better protection and convenience in operation.
- Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipments including Operational Technologies (OT) not limited to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as directed by the E&I Supervisor in accordance with the Maintenance program.
- Conducts routine inspection of auxiliary and other electrical equipment on a regular interval.
- Ensures all measuring and test instruments are calibrated.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years experience in power plant or in allied industry
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related course
- Licensed Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineer
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Competencies:
- Knowledge of diesel plant operation and maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in electrical power control system
- Experience in fault analysis and resolution
- Ability to read electrical and control diagrams
- Experience in handling low, medium and high voltage equipment
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Analysis and decision-making
- Knowledge and experience in health, safety and environmental laws and regulations
