About this Position

The Commercial Analysis Associate supports the commercial team by analyzing business performance and turning data into actionable insights to drive growth and profitability. This role monitors key metrics such as margin, COGS, promotions, and product performance to identify risks and opportunities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role helps improve decision-making through data analysis and supports initiatives that enhance overall commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial team in driving business growth, profitability, and operational improvements through data-driven insights and analysis.
• Monitor key commercial metrics such as margin, COGS, promotion performance, contribution margin, waste level, and other profitability indicators.
• Track performance against OKRs and key business metrics; identify early risks and recommend corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.
• Analyze category and product performance to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and profitability optimization.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting commercial operations.
• Prepare structured reports, dashboards, and presentations for performance reviews and management discussions.
• Translate business data into actionable insights and recommendations that support commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Commercial, Supply Chain, Campaign, Data, and Portfolio teams to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Support commercial teams in understanding key data points and insights to encourage stronger adoption of data-driven decision making.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose practical improvements that enhance business performance and commercial outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, commercial operations, retail analytics, or similar roles.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Prior exposure to retail, quick commerce, or e-commerce environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into business insights.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including functions such as pivot tables, Vlookup, Index/Match, IF formulas, and importrange.
• Familiar with key retail or e-commerce metrics such as margin percentage, product velocity, out-of-stock rate (OOS), impressions, and conversion rate (CVR).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify anomalies, opportunities, and improvement areas in business performance.
