The Role
We are looking for a Finance Officer to support our operations, admin, and finance function in the Philippines. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the end to end administrative and finance activities. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager and Finance Manager in tasks pertinent to their departments.
- Ensure a timely renewal of all Company Business Licenses, registrations, insurance and work permits.
- Assisting the Finance Manager to prepare Monthly Financial Statements, Tax Reconciliations and BIR Reports
- Assist the Finance Manager in budget preparation on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Preparation and collection of company invoices
- Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers
- Liaising with company vendors for organizational disbursements
- Summarize data for VAT Filings for the Summary List of Sales and Purchases every quarter
- Summarize data for the Quarterly Alpha list of Payees every quarter
- Summarize data for the Summary Alpha list of Withholding Taxes to be submitted annually.
- Preparing reports as required by law, regulations, or company policies
- Establish, maintain, and adhere to existing finance policies and procedures of the company
- Contribute in enhancing and/or innovating existing policies and procedures of the company for the Finance Department
- Stay up to date with Tax laws and memorandums for compliance
- Assist the Operations Manager and Finance Manager in reviewing Financial Data and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Assist in maintaining the overall financial health of the organization
- Ensure financial reports are prepared and delivered on time
- Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of salaries and other benefits to employees
- Support Operations Manager in people and development related activities
The hired employee will be expected to report to our BGC-located office 2 to 3 times per week, and will be expected to work from home on the days they aren't in the office. The company operates Mondays to Fridays.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years experience in an Administrative, Operations, or Finance role is a must
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to stick to time constraints
- Takes initiative
- Keen eye for detail and desire to probe further info data
- Detail oriented, efficient and organized professional
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to handle, dissect, create extensive formulas as needed
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought decisions
- Computer literate, knowledge of accounting tools such as Xero is a plus
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Passionate about ensuring a good work environment in the office
- Ability to develop smooth working relationships
