Video Editor  

As a Video Editor at CUE Philippines, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content from start to finish. This includes shooting video content, editing footage, and refining visuals to meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with our creative team to craft compelling video projects across various platforms, ensuring that every video is polished and meets brand guidelines. Your creative input will be valued as you help conceptualize and execute projects that engage audiences and tell our clients’ stories effectively.

Video Shooting: Capture high-quality video content for various projects such as social media campaigns, advertisements, promotional materials, and corporate videos.

Video Editing: Transform raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos that align with the project’s vision and tell a compelling story.

Visual Enhancements: Refine content through color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and other post-production techniques to ensure high visual standards.

Collaboration: Coordinate closely with creative leads, designers, and team members to align on project direction and contribute ideas during planning.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos align with the client’s brand guidelines and messaging tone.

Adaptability: Edit for a variety of formats and aspect ratios, particularly those required by digital platforms.

Asset Management: Organize and maintain libraries of video content, project files, and other materials for efficient access and future use.

Job Requirements

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in video editing, production, and post-production is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in video editing tools such as industry-standard editing and design software.
• Solid grasp of video production fundamentals, including lighting, camera work, and sound capture.
• Capable of shooting and editing content in different styles and formats, including short-form and vertical videos.
• Experience in motion graphics and visual enhancement techniques.
• Ability to translate visual concepts into both static and animated deliverables.
• Strong skills in audio syncing and mixing to improve the final product quality.

Creativity:

• A strong sense of visual storytelling with fresh, original ideas and attention to detail.

Communication:

• Effective in collaborating within a creative team, with excellent interpersonal and verbal skills.

Portfolio:

• Must provide a portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant video editing and shooting work.

Adaptability:

• Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving:

• Able to resolve technical issues during both production and editing phases.

Awareness of Trends:

• Knowledgeable about digital content trends and how to tailor video content for different online platforms and audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background working with digital marketing or creative agencies.
• Familiarity with 3D animation or complex motion graphics.
• Experience using project management platforms.
• Basic skills in photography and DSLR camera operation are a plus.
