- Cost Estimation: Prepare and calculate cost estimates for interior projects (materials, labor, etc.).
- Budget Control: Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring costs stay within limits.
- Supplier & Contractor Negotiation: Select and negotiate with suppliers and contractors for the best rates.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with design and construction teams to align on project goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying for interior design or construction projects.
- Professional certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software (e.g., Excel, or similar).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
