Accounting Manager  

REPORTS TO: Village Manager

JOB PURPOSE: Undertakes the management of the Finance and Budget Unit

KEY RESULTS EXPECTED

• Assessment and collection of membership dues from the residents.
• Preparation and administration of the consolidated budget of the Office.
• Administration of payroll and benefits.
• Assessment and endorsement of requests for purchasing to the Village Manager for approval.
• Disbursement and receipt of payments and remittances.
• Timely and accurate financial reports, internal (every board meeting – update) and external (e.g. statutory reports to BIR, SSS, HMDF, PAGIBIG).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises the sending of notices, collection of membership dues and updating and maintenance of the record of membership dues of residents.
• Coordinates with the other Heads in the Office in the preparation of their annual budget and preparation of the consolidated budget for approval by the Board.
• Oversees payroll and benefits administration.
• Endorses requests for purchasing of materials or services to the Village Manager for approval.
• Manages the disbursement and receipt of payments and remittances, including monthly bank statement reconciliation.
• Oversees the financial transaction recording and reconciliation and reports preparation for the Board and government regulatory agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Graduate of Accounting or Business Administration Course,
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant,
• At least five years of work experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably with supervisory experience.
