Project Development Specialist  

The Project Development Specialist is responsible for closely monitoring project direction and providing key input on the project delivery in terms of time, cost and scope.

BUSINESS CASE BUILDING

• Collaborate with cost planning, operations and bidding groups in increasing project certainty for time, scope and cost
• Engage in market research and financial feasibility studies to update project relevance vis-à-vis current competitive situation

PROJECT TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT

• Create project management systems, team structures and coordination mechanisms to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Constantly updates and determine accuracy of project trackers such as Smartsheet
• Flag project approval concerns to the FVP and engage in root cause analysis to source variances in project schedule and cost
• Guide different department in determining and implementing project direction in accordance with approved project mandates

PERMITS AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS

• Coordinate with government entities, business partners and other property stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are aligned with the local permits, investor relations, and community needs
• Collaborate with the Bidding, Permits and Licenses department in implementing courses of action and documentary packages for securing permits
• Recommend options for Management concerning regulatory exposure with cost, time and scope and limitations

• Preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience
• Background in project planning, controlling and scheduling. Application of program management to newly-acquired and existing projects, in the hotel development setting.
• Capacity and willingness to engage with a broad set of stakeholders and come up with win-win solutions, believes in the importance of public, private, and non-profit partnerships.
• Ability to budget, measure, and manage risk in consideration of project mandates for time, cost, and scope.
• Ability to distill insights from a wide range of sources, integration of data from the market, financial, and competitive sides to arrive at updated project assumptions.
• Proficieny in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
