A technical trainer is the one that provides essential assistance in terms of the ground works of the Training section's operational conceptualization, material preparation, skills development assessment, logistics and coordination, data recording and data management. A technical trainer also provides training and education on technology and technical systems to individuals and organizations through hands-on training classes, online sessions, and/or workshops, best practices and utilization of technologies. Additionally, the role helps in building knowledge and competency among users while providing advice on integrating new technologies and processes into existing systems
For Other Task
- Assist the Training Unit in the creation and development of effective technical learning modules and learning content and materials that can deliver engaging activities and that can effectively deliver technical information and measure the required competencies.
- Conceptualize and implement learning information and programs in relation to the company’s technical learning requirements, with compliance to the company’s manufacturing processes, procedures, quality standards, rules, regulations.
- Provide assistance to the continuous development of the technical employees through coordination with various external technical training providers.
- Ensure that all the required personnel have valid certifications and have attended and completed mandatory compliance and certifications training.
- Coordinate with plant operators, laboratory personnel, supervisors, and department managers to identify training needs, training materials, and mandatory topics for different types of training (such as OSH, PCO, GHS, and other related training), job specific training, operator training, refresher training etc.) in order to ensure that these trainings meet the key requirements for company’s compliance training
- Incorporate effective learning methodologies and techniques such as process-based, output-based workshops, discovery learnings, and other forms which can be derived from research and from data.
- Facilitate effective transfer of learning through various training implementation strategies such ILT (instructor-led training), self-paced learning and combined e-learning and consulting
- Prepare training modules/presentations and technical workbook manuals for each area to make sure that training sessions cover all key topics.
- Develop interactive material presentations and engaging infographic, audio-visual contents.
- Assist in the development of effective evaluation systems and tools.
- Conduct systematic evaluations (formative, summative, Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation method) of the learning programs conducted and synthesize essential findings that will provide information for learning reinforcements.
- Conduct periodic meetings with Line heads, Team Leads, and Officers to provide learning feedback and insights and to identify what skills are needed to enhance competencies of employees and trainees.
- Handles logistical arrangements required for engagement activities such as but not limited to coordination and scheduling employees for training through program invitations and confirmations based on the identified training requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate from or any engineering field
- At least with 1 year of training and/or working experience gained from manufacturing company
- Knowledgeable in the training cucle and adult learning
- Good teaching and presentation skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint) and Google Workspace
- Can design and implement effective teaching modules and devise processes for continuous quality improvement
- Knowledgeable in video and graphics editing
- Residing in Cavite or nearby areas
- Metro Manila - based candidates are welcome provided amendable to work in multiple site locations. (70% on-site training assignments in Silang Cavite and Calaca, Batangas. 30 % on-site BGC Head Office)
