Jr. System Administrator  

Job Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

The responsibilities of a Junior System Administrator can vary depending on the organization and its specific needs.

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) on servers, workstations, and other devices.
• Set up and configure system software and applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network cables.
• Monitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to internet access, internal systems, and connected devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and VPN settings as necessary for proper network operation.

• Monitor security systems to ensure the integrity of the network and systems, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.

Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience working on Cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Understanding the setup and administration of AWS platform and core services.
• Experience with Git, GitHub.
• Experience with Backup, Endpoint and Email Security products is beneficial.
• The ability to communicate strongly, engage with internal stakeholders, and elicit a clear understanding of requirements.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-function working relationships.
• Good documentation skills and strong analytical skills
