Senior Risk Data Analyst

Key skills required:

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in big data sets
• Capability to structure and solve complex issues
• Investigate anomalies in data and operations
• Point out potential weaknesses in products, systems, processes and recommend feasible preventive measures
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to create anti-fraud tools for multiple use cases
• Communicate frequently with internal stakeholders to share data insights

• Analytical - data driven, able to synthesize idea and create insights from data
• Relational - be able to reach out to people (mostly internal) and build working relationships with them

Preferred backgrounds and industries:

• Bachelor degree from reputable universities (degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or related quantitative fields (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics) is preferred)
• More than 3 years of experience in an analytical role
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and preferably experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and data visualization tools (Tableau, etc).
• Excellent communication skills (English is required)
• Experience working in fraud/risk/compliance areas is preferred
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including but not limited to Python, R is preferred
