Mindanao Gold Star

Mindanao Gold Star is an independent media organization based in Cagayan de Oro City, serving communities across Northern Mindanao since 1989. For more than three decades, we have covered the stories, people, businesses, and issues that shape Mindanao. Today, we are building on that legacy as we transform from a traditional newspaper into a modern, data-driven multimedia organization. Our work spans print and digital journalism, social media, multimedia storytelling, branded content, partnerships, and emerging media products. We are continuously experimenting with new ways to tell meaningful stories, grow our audiences, and build sustainable revenue streams for independent local journalism.
