Solution Designer  

• Drive the solutioning and assessment of requirements during project implementation phases and change request / enhancements activities (Outsystems and integrating systems to Outsystems)
• Understands business requirements and processes and is able to translate it to technical language - vice versa.
• Solution Designer leads the creation of the Solution Plan (SP) coming from the high-level solution (HLS) of the Solution Architects.
• Solution Designer works with its System Analyst to breakdown the HLS detailed workable packages for each of the application involved in the project.
• Solution Designer also work with the business PM and Product Designers to clarify the user requirements and ensure it is covered by the solution.
• Solution Designer consults and works with SMEs, Network support, and Security Support to ensure solution is end-to-end.
• Solution Designer works with System Administrator and Database Administrator thru its System Analyst to setup the environment both in testing and in production.
• Solution Designer works with Operations Support thru its Systems Analyst to do the necessary handover to production.
• Solution Designer leads the support teams to have technical readiness for the assign project.
• Solution Designer leads the cutover activities to deploy the project enhancements in production.
• Solution Designer leads the support team during the stabilization period after the cutover.
• Solution Designer works with the Business PM and Service Management to monitor and address the production issues raised during the stabilization period.
• Solution Designer assist the Business PM in the close-out of the project.
• Complies with Globe's process documents and framework.
• Reports and aligns tasks to his/her supervisor, ES leads and Domain leader

(1) Relevant hands-on experience in Solution Architecture, Integration and Systems Engineering covering software (applications, middleware, databases) and Hardware (servers, network and storage)

- Must have experience in deploying, using and tuning solutions on commercial databases and middleware like Oracle and SQL Server.

- IT/Telco industry experience

(2) Level of Knowledge

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field

- Relevant Technical certifications in application development, program management and infrastructure solutioning preferred

- Cloud Platform certifications preferred

- Expertise in Oracle database and middleware preferred

- Deep understanding in high-performance and hyper-scale platform design and architecture preferred

- Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies

- Strong working knowledge on infrastructure supporting platforms like server, operating systems, networking, storage etc.

- Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that is understandable to business units.

- Self-motivated, ability to find new ways to improve processes
