Job Description

  1. Manage Site facility management services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for co-workers, visitors and customers of the store.
  2. Ensure all facility management services are delivered, and assets and buildings are maintained, in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations.
  3. Ensure all Facility Management initiatives grow the business and support the sustainability of long-term profitability.
  4. Control costs by working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using good examples and encouraging facility team and colleagues to discover more effective ways of working.
  5. Manage, follow up and evaluate external service provider performance against contract terms, and provide feedback to Procurement Department on supplier performance.
  6. Create, implement and actively manage annual operational and budget plans to ensure that all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) are maintained to agreed standards and within agreed costs and timeframes.
  7. Produce and distribute periodic reports on performance of facility management services against operational and budget plans.
  8. Empower facility team by delegating responsibility to them to help them grow and develop according to their individual ability and experience.
  9. Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with facility team to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a multi-service facilities management organization, preferably in high-volume retail sector and/or hospitality.
  2. Academic degree/professional qualification in Facilities Management preferred.
  3. Experience in sustainability and the environment from the perspective of facility management is essential.
  4. Experience in site-based contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
  5. Mechanical and technical knowledge, and practical experience, in all facility systems; including electrical and lighting, mechanical and HVAC, structural, site, building automation and energy management.
  6. Knowledge of national and local legal for building/facility requirements.
  7. Ability to work in a self-directed environment to resolve problems and to complete complex tasks within deadlines and financial constraints.
  8. Ability to prioritize and organize own work in alignment with agreed building facility priorities.
  9. Ability to ensure the integrity of safety and security systems, guidelines and documentation.
  10. Good analytical and numerical skills. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  11. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence and act. Demonstrable experience managing operational budgets.
  12. Working knowledge of MS Office applications and Computer Aided Facility Management software systems.
  13. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences, both verbally and in writing in local language and English.
  14. Willing to work at Kota Baru Parahyangan, Bandung Barat or Alam Sutera, Tangerang Selatan.
  15. Willing to work on shifting schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays.
