Business Development Officer  

We’re looking for a driven and adaptable Business Development Officer to help grow our network of merchant partners. The role involves a combination of fieldwork and office tasks such as lead generation, merchant pitching, onboarding, and relationship management.

• Generate leads through online platforms, fieldwork/store visits, referrals, and events
• Conduct outbound calls and schedule appointments with potential merchant partners
• Perform face-to-face pitches, negotiations, and regular follow-ups with merchants
• Ensure contract signing and smooth onboarding through merchant visits
• Collect, verify, and upload merchant documents in compliance with company standards
• Encode merchant data from various sources into internal platforms
• Train merchants on operational workflows and forthcoming merchant app or portals as needed
• Manage merchant updates, support requests, and provide in-store materials when required
• Keep trackers updated and prepare regular reports for internal and client use
• Join meetings, brainstorming sessions, and align with project teams
• Work towards individual and team KPIs and collaborate with other departments when necessary

• Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field.
• Open to fresh graduates
• Has excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Highly adaptable and has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Applicants must be willing to do heavy field work
