Job Description
- Break big tasks into smaller sub-task for their own task
- Responsible for complex tasks and complete them despite roadblocks.
- Improve the common codebases and standards for your squad.
- Review code
- Taking ownership of services and applications
- Providing guidance for technology used in a team
- Mentoring middle and junior engineer
- Working closely with Tech Lead and Manager to develop solutions
- Implementing POC together with Platform Lead.
- Give the solutions to the issues or problems in the squad.
- Initiate the ideas and practice them in the squad.
- Helping in the recruitment process as code reviewer & interviewer
- Showing strong ownership to the business that built in the squad.
- Track the tasks to production.
- Monitor closely after going live.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in semantic HTML, CSS in general
- Understand and follow our standard for versioning tools (Git)
- Able to create a RESTful fetch (get, post, etc) for one or more endpoint
- Able to create a page with Next.js and component with React
- Familiar with CSS preprocessor (SASS and LESS) or UI framework (Material UI, Bootstrap) or utility-first CSS (tailwind)
- Familiar with cookie, localStorage, and sessionStorage
- Familiar with state management (Redux, Context, Zustand, etc)
- Familiar with Javascript Concepts (Immutability, Promise, Datatype, ES6+)
- Understand and practicing Clean Code writing
- Familiar with Bundler (webpack, rollup, etc)
- Able to create or maintain state management (Redux, Context, Zustand, etc)
- Proficient in server-side rendering or its framework
- Understand and practicing service worker
- Understand and practicing Websocket & Server Side Event (SSE)
- Familiar with Javascript Concepts (Event Loop, Functional Programming in JS)
- Proficient with Typescript
- Proficient with unit test
- Proficient with bundler (webpack, rollup, etc)
- Practicing web vitals and continuously improving web performance
- Understand and practicing web security prevention (XSS, SQL Injection, CSRF, session hijack)
