- Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure either on-premises or cloud.
- Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Planning, Design and Development an Infrastructure either on- premises or cloud.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Collaborate with developer team, product owner using agile project management framework.
- Maintain server infrastructure on Data centre.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and
firewalls) - Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available,
and fault-tolerant systems - Proven working experience in installing, configuring and
troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments. - Experience with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and
containerization - Experience with monitoring systems
- Experience with DNS Server, Mail Server.
- Experience with Backup Solution (VEEAM)
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Familiar with Azure and AWS technologies.
- Familiar with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix
- Familiar with Webserver Engine (Apache,Nginx).
- Experience with Data centre Environment is a plus.
