Job Description
- Manage and ensure the quality of manuscripts to be submitted to various publications
- Handle submission-related issues according to specific journal guidelines, requirements, and protocol
- Edit and format English manuscripts with a Lexcodian standard of quality
- Contribute to the continued improvement of the research community and the company as they constructively address various theoretical concerns of the different manuscripts
- Distinguish relevant content and narrow manuscript foci
- Proofread, copyedit, and substantively edit English documents to correct errors in both content and style
- Evaluate the quality of translators and other editors based on standards set by the team
- Verify the validity of content by fact-checking and using standard reference sources
- Comply with strict publication standards, clients’ specifications, deadlines, and other SOPs
- Ensure adherence to different style guides, including the company's in-house style guide
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree graduate with at least 6 units in Research
- High English proficiency and critical thinking
- At least 1 year background as a researcher or has worked in any research-related field
- Competent in statistical analyses and interpretation
- Collaborative, inquisitive, and open-minded
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and undergo rigorous training
- Able to work on-site for at least four days per week
