Our Software Engineering Internship Program offers talented individuals an immersive experience in the dynamic world of software engineering. Designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities and mentorship from seasoned professionals, this program equips interns with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the tech industry as a Software Engineer.

Goals

Proficiency in Web Development Technologies

• Achieve basic understanding in Javascript, Ruby and relevant frameworks/libraries.

Adherence to Coding Standards and Best Practices

• Adhere to coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.

Full-Stack Development Capability

• Develop skills in both frontend and backend development to become a full-stack developer.

Objectives

Understanding Company Processes and Procedures

• Learn about the company's workflow, development methodologies, and coding standards.
• Familiarization with version control systems (Git) and project management tools used by the organization (Design Doc, etc)

Technical Skill Development

• Gain proficiency in web development languages and technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (React).
• Learn server-side programming languages (Ruby) and databases (MySQL). depending on the project's tech stack.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

• Develop problem-solving skills by debugging code, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.
• Learn how to use debugging tools and browser developer tools effectively.

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology) or recent graduate.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule

• In line with the onsite schedule of engineers (Subject for discussion once the intern has been selected)
• Minimum Hours: 200

Working agreement: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
