Quality Assurance Associate  

The QA Associate ensures that all functions and duties within the scope of responsibility are executed and complied properly and consistently to achieve product safety and high standards of quality. This position also ensures full implementation and compliance to Food Safety and Quality Systems such as Good Manufacturing Practices, Pre-requisite programs and HACCP system in the Production Line, washing area and cleaning area.

Production Process Compliance Monitoring and Improvement

• Conduct production process monitoring and ensure compliance to the standards
• Coordination of process non-conformities to respective Production Officers / Team leaders and other Departments
• Monitors and controls the wastages in the productions line
• Issuance of CAR on the food safety and quality deviations and monitor the implementation of CAPA.
• Communication with the Operations Manager / Production Supervisors / other Department Heads on any non-conformities to facilitate CAPA implementation and closure

Production and Other areas GMP / HACCP Compliance

• Provides assistance on the documentation and implementation of GWP / GTP/HACCP and other Food Safety Systems
• Ensure that GWP/GTP/HACCP systems are cascaded to all Production Staff and Officers
• Conducts GWP/HACCP audit and ensure compliance
• Conducts GWP/HACCP refresher training in collaboration with the FSQMS division

Correction and Corrective action closure of external audit findings

• Coordination of audit observations with the responsible sections and come up with the CAPA of each non-conformity
• Gives CAPA plan to the external auditor and follow up acceptance
• Monitor the closure of each observed non-conformities and verification process for possible recurrence

Food Safety Management System and Process Improvement

• Provide improvement projects related to Food Safety and Quality Systems within the scope of responsibility
• Ensure compliance to Food Safety Management System requirements

Administrative and Operational Efficiency

• Cross functional to other areas and collaboration with other QA Associate
• Ensures that all functions are performed accurately and finished in a timely manner
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Superior
• Participation in the cost savings program
• Higher degree of punctuality

• With Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Material Science Engineering, and other science related courses
• With at least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience but fresh graduates with relevant intern experience are welcome to apply
• With knowledge in GWP, GTP and HACCP Principles
• Well informed about Food Safety Management System or ISO 22000
• Willing to work onsite in Lot 25 & 27 Marian Road 2, Marian Business Park Barangay San Martin De Porres Parañaque
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule (morning, mid, night shift)
