Accounting Officer  

ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT

Maintains and updates the reports of Projects with Owner Supplied Materials (OSM) to monitor consumption and delivery of cement. Ensures availability determines shortage or average of supply and makes the necessary adjustments in project site billings.

Oversees r of Accounts Receivable Team and coordinates with the Project Accountants and Managers to ensure on-time collection of receivables.

Checks Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Statement of Accounts (SOA) on a weekly basis prior to submission to project sites and external customers in order to ensure the accuracy of SOA.

Updates the Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE) lapsing schedule and posts depreciation expense to SAO on a monthly basis to ensure proper allocation of resources.

Prepares the journal entry for salaries and wages of all BP employees payroll and post it to SAP on a monthly basis to monitor expenses.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

Fosters and develops a culture to continuous improvement is embedded in th team to encourage constant learning.

Implements and monitors execution of process improvement initiatives in order to ensure the success of the program.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Coaches, evaluates and recognizes his/ her direct reports and staff's appraisal based on agreed KPIs to ensure high performance and continued engagement in the BU.

Assesses his/ her direct reports competencies vis-a- vis their position requirements to determine their training and development needs.

Recommends to the HR and Administration department on training, annual leave, day- off, reprimanding, hiring and termination of erring employees.

DATE INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT

Ensures all administrative and employee records and archives are monitored in order to maintain data integrity

• BS Accountancy graduate
• Preferrably a Certified Public Accountant
• With at least 5 years working experience in the same industry or field
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
