Job Description
The Claims Manager oversees and facilitates the processing of bond and Contractor's All Risks Insurance (CARI) claims.
- This involves managing the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation, and actively communicating with insurance companies to expedite claim resolution.
- The role also requires providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners on matters related to bond and insurance policy terms, conditions, and coverage.
- This includes interpreting complex policy language, clarifying ambiguities, and addressing inquiries to ensure a clear understanding of the scope of insurance protection and claims procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in handling construction and real estate insurance claims.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Knowledge of bond and insurance practices, policies, and coverage.
- Familiarity with rate schedules and assessment methodologies.
- Non-life insurance and underwriting certification is a plus.
