- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from insurance stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Analyze and document insurance business processes such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer management.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Project Managers throughout the SDLC.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and other related artifacts.
- Support SIT/UAT by preparing test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and validating results.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirement clarification sessions with stakeholders.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in existing insurance systems and processes.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, security, and internal insurance policies.
- Support change management activities and production deployment readiness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services Industry (FSI), preferably Insurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes (policy, claims, underwriting, billing).
- Experience in documenting BRD, FSD, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project environments.
- Familiar with SDLC and requirement management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
