The Web Developer will design and code functional programs and applications. They will be working both individually and as a part of the team. They’ll have to understand application requirements and identify each application’s key features. They will also participate in setting specifications for new applications and designing creative prototypes. They will have to write complete, high quality source code within deadlines and will be in charge of performing unit and integration testing before the launch. They should also be able to troubleshoot applications (including existing ones which are already operational), identify bugs and deficiencies, and offer timely solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and debugging code
- Troubleshooting software issues
- Working closely with other developers to improve product’s functionality
- Developing innovative solutions
- Attending developer meetings
- Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Participating in estimation discussions with the product team
- Continually improving coding skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related course
- Knowledge of programming languages and environments, specifically for: HTML5, JSON, React.js or Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Python
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Experience with Git is a plus
