Job Description

1. Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering

  • Lead client workshops to gather detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Analyze client business processes, identify gaps, and recommend best-practice solutions using Business Central capabilities.
  • Prepare Business Process Documentation, Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and solution blueprints.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during implementation phases.

2. Solution Design & Configuration

  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central according to client requirements across key modules:
    • Finance (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets)
    • Purchasing & Sales
    • Inventory & Warehouse
    • Jobs or Manufacturing (as applicable)
  • Propose and design vertical solution such as custom module, custom report or integrated to third-party apps / system according to client requirements.
  • Define and manage setup parameters such as Posting Groups, Dimensions, Workflows, Number Series, and VAT/GST configurations.
  • Support data migration by preparing data templates, validating imports, and reconciling results.

3. Project Delivery & Testing

  • Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, and developers to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT), preparing test cases and managing issue resolutions.
  • Support the go-live process, including cutover planning, user assistance, and post-implementation review.

4. User Training & Documentation

  • Develop training materials and conduct functional training sessions for client users.
  • Document configuration setups, change requests, and solution designs for internal and client reference.
  • Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and client self-sufficiency post-implementation.

5. Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Provide post-go-live support and assist clients in optimizing their use of Business Central.
  • Recommend process enhancements and extensions using Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Stay updated with new Business Central releases, localization updates, and Microsoft roadmap features.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience (for junior roles) or 3–5 years (for senior roles) in implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).
  • Proven track record in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation within a consulting or Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Fresh Graduated are welcome to apply.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of Business Central modules (Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, Jobs/Projects).
  • Strong understanding in Accounting knowledge and Financial Report (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cashflow, etc.).
  • Experience in configuring core setups — Posting Groups, Dimensions, Currencies, and VAT.
  • Familiarity with Business Central extensions and integrations (AL extensions, APIs, or third-party apps such as WMS, POS, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, Jet Reports, or other Microsoft reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Microsoft Sure Step).
  • Prior experience with a specific ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc., is preferred.
