- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
- Support migration projects (e.g., Exchange, Office 365, Azure) under senior engineer guidance.
- Monitor system performance, perform backups, apply updates and patches.
- Respond to and resolve Tier 1–2 support tickets; escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (configurations, processes, runbooks).
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or scripting tools.
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field—OR equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years hands-on experience with Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, AD, Office 365, Azure.
- Certified: Microsoft, CompTIA (A+, Network+), or Cisco (CCNA).
- Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware).
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and system monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks.
- Good troubleshooting abilities and strong analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of Azure AD, Intune, Office 365 administration, and migrations.
- Basic scripting/coding in Bash, Python, or similar environments.
