Job Description
- Allocate resources (manpower / equipment) adequately to meet production targets and minimize costs, in all areas
- Provide leadership and area ownership to develop and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide leadership for the implementation of quality systems to ensure quality product
- Supports other functional managers to interpret and implement programs on shopfloor
- Provide leadership to ensure timely delivery of good product to customers
- Ensure all activities are efficiently run to achieve excellent service and return on investments
- Drive Manufacturing Excellence strategy with efficiency management activities
- Ensure improvements are sustained through the introduction of work instructions, quality standards, workplace organisation, training records and performance measurement.
- Develop a highly motivated team with good team spirit
Minimum Qualifications
- Physically fit, hardworking and able to adapt in an odorous environment
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar environment or hygiene-oriented environment
