Compensation and Benefits Specialist  

The C&B Specialist will report to the Team Leader of Compensation and Benefits to ensure that payroll and benefits are released accurately and on-time. The role is expected to deliver excellent customer/employee service ensuring that employees are educated and assisted in matters of MyHR payroll system, payroll computation, administration of company-initiated benefits, and government benefits/loans.

Core Functions Include:

• Processing of non-confidential payroll and related activities. Using myHR payroll system, the role will be responsible for processing of payroll, preparation of related payroll reports, processing of special payroll and annualization.
• Subject Matter Expert for myHR payroll system (under Titanium). He/She will handle myHR orientation for new hires, handles all inquiries related to the system, responds to payroll inquiries and ensures that the system is updated based on new government regulations.
• Processing of company-initiated benefits, government benefits and remittances to include:
  • Handles the remittances of all premiums and loans via OneHub for all government agencies which includes SSS, Philhealth and PagIBIG.
  • Handles the filing of all benefits claims in SSS such as maternity and sickness
  • Handles appropriate deductions for all government loans
  • Handles all inquiries related to company and government benefits
• Processing of final pay which includes e-routing of employee’s clearance, computation of final pay and timely release of the final pay together with the complete exit documents.
• Ensures that all transactions complies with provisions set by DOLE as well as ISO which will include preparation for audits and continuous review and improvements of set guidelines.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent
• At least two (2) years working experience in payroll and benefits
• Must have experience with automated payroll
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Patient and has a genuine desire to educate employees on mandatory payroll and benefits
• Good communication and organization skills
• Able to handle confidential information
• Can work Monday to Friday on a dayshift schedule
• Has stable internet connection
