Job Role

Sourcing and controlling product based on his/her responsibilities in order to achieve target and managing his/her team to reach goals.

Job Descriptions:

• Building relations, sourcing, and negotiating with suppliers and principal.
• Calculating distribution, promoting variation, and set the target to achieve Net sales and Commercial Margin.
• Always obtain all related information in database sales system.
• Working closely with operation business to achieve target.
• Controlling and directing Jr Buyer and Buyer when negotiate with suppliers.
• Reporting all the merchandising activities.
• Liaising with existing suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Sourcing and selecting new products and display through catalogs and by attending national and international trade fairs and events.
• Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products.
• Analysing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying pattern.
• Assisting visual merchandisers in planning store layouts to promote key lines.
• Working with the advertising department in order to present sales promotions.
• Presenting new ranges to retail managers.
• Analysing sales results and having foresee for future matters.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field
• Required language(s): Bahasa Indonesia, English
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience handled groceries in consignment and direct purchase is required for this position
• Required Skill(s): Negotiation, buying or direct purchase
• Having good understanding in Retail business and Market Connection, would be a beneficial
• Capabilities in analytical thinking, able to provide new ideas, and self-confident is a must
• Strong communication and personality in dealing with suppliers or principals
• Willing working with numerical numbers
• Well acknowledge and willing to learn all about retail business
