Job Description
- Ensure that all requirements described in the property assessment are incorporated into the Preliminary Contract and Contract documents.
- Follow company checklists to capture and process all information required to determine fixed site costs
- Read plans and documents in order to determine scope
- Ability to provide Bill of Quantity of blocks
- Produce all sales estimates required to support the sales process from deposit to commencement of construction using system software
- Read plans and documents in order to determine scope Production of sales estimates
- Produce sales estimates to reflect the customer’s requirements using BusinessCraft /MRS software to incorporate: - standard options - non standard variations - foundation and footing requirements - inclusions to achieve required siting - regulatory requirements
- Ensure that all requirements described in the property assessment are incorporated into the Preliminary Contract and Contract documents.
- Follow company checklists to capture and process all information required to determine fixed site costs with particular emphasis on: - Site cut, fill, retaining walls - Footing requirements (including bored concrete or screw piers)
- Complete all estimates in accordance with Metricon design and construction details and to comply with Building Code of Australia, local authority requirements and relevant planning requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as an Australian Housing estimator / quantity surveyor
- Experience in using Databuild
- High attention to details
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of construction materials and products
