About the role
YONDU INC.' is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a junior QA engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications
- Collaborating with the development team to understand application requirements and identify potential areas of risk
- Documenting test plans, test cases, and defect reports using appropriate tools and processes
- Analyzing test results and providing feedback to the development team to drive continuous improvement
- Participating in code reviews and providing input on quality assurance best practices
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing
Minimum Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and techniques
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with agile development practices and iterative testing cycles
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Amenable to work onsite in Makati
