Return Manager  

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain structured, reconciled, and auditable documentation for bad stock, wastage, and return value across all warehouses.
• Develop clear guidance, classification frameworks, and specification playbooks to define items eligible for resale, flash sale, refurbishment, or disposal.
• Act as the key coordination point between warehouse operations, hub teams, finance, and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on return management execution.
• Provide regular reporting and insights on return performance, loss trends, and recovery effectiveness to management.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of return values, losses, and recovery amounts, with clear variance tracking and root cause visibility.
• Define, standardize, and continuously improve return handling processes to minimize loss, leakage, and operational inconsistencies across sites.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities for incremental or “other revenue” generated from return items through alternative recovery channels.
• Ensure full compliance with disposal regulations, environmental standards, and internal company policies.

Requirements:

Experience & Background

• 8–10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in returns, reverse logistics, inventory reconciliation, or loss/wastage control

Operational & Financial Acumen

• Strong understanding of stock reconciliation, return value tracking, and loss/variance analysis
• Experienced in building structured, auditable documentation and operational reporting
• Data-driven with the ability to turn return and loss data into actionable insights

Process & Governance

• Proven track record in creating and improving SOPs, classification frameworks, and operational playbooks
• Strong focus on minimizing leakage, inconsistencies, and operational losses
• Familiar with compliance and proper disposal standards is a plus

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Able to identify recovery or secondary revenue opportunities from returned items
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Warehouse, Ops, and Finance teams
• Willing to travel regularly across warehouses/hubs
