Tax Specialist  

Role Overview:

As a Senior Specialist in Financial Statutory and Tax, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the company’s financial compliance, reporting accuracy, and tax efficiency. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, external auditors, and tax advisors to maintain financial integrity and optimize tax strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Tax Compliance and Reporting:
   • Prepare and review tax returns: Ensure accurate and timely filing of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other relevant tax returns.
   • BIR Tax Related Audits: Preparation of Tax Reconciliation and Schedules, Submission of Hard/Soft copies of Audit Documents and other BIR Audit Tasks
   • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Income Tax and Fringe Benefits Tax calculations
   • Collection, monitoring and reconciliation of AR-CWT
   • Issuance of CWT (2307) to vendors
2. Tax Treaty Relief Application and Tax Clearance Certification
3. Tax GL Accounts Reconciliation Schedule – Preparation, Reconciliation and Presentation of Reports to Finance Head the movements and changes in the Balance Sheet Accounts related to Tax
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Business partnering: Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to address tax-related matters.
   • Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time in relation to the fulfillment of job objective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge in SAP preferred
• Experience: With or without experience in tax but is willing to be trained
• Analytical skills: Ability to interpret financial data and tax regulations.
• Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
