Senior QA Automation Engineer  

As a QA Automation Engineer at EarthTrack, you will take ownership of establishing and evolving our QA processes. Working closely with the CTO, Technical Lead, and Development team, you will not only design and maintain automation frameworks but also set the direction for how quality is embedded into our development lifecycle.

This role requires both hands-on technical expertise in test automation and the leadership ability to define standards, influence decisions, and guide the team toward building a culture of quality. You will play a key role in ensuring that our QA strategy scales effectively, improves developer productivity, and enhances the reliability of our products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in QA automation, with proven experience leading or shaping QA processes
• Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Jest, Mocha, JUnit)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Newman, REST Assured)
• Proven experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance, load)
• Demonstrated ability to set QA standards and influence engineering teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinking with the ability to balance quality, speed, and business priorities
