Quality Assurance Tester  

Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 3–6 months (extendable)

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester (Manual) to support application testing for a 3–6 month contract. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through thorough manual testing and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect tracking tool
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements
• Validate system functionality against business requirements
• Prepare test documentation, reports, and test results
• Support release cycles to ensure high-quality delivery

• Proven experience as a QA Tester / Manual Tester
• Strong understanding of manual testing processes and methodologies
• Experience in web and/or mobile application testing
• Familiar with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Basic understanding of APIs and databases (SQL is a plus)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to basic automation testing (not mandatory)
• Experience in industries such as fintech, banking, or insurance
