- Design, develop, and maintain applications on AS400 (IBM i) systems using COBOL.
- Analyze business requirements, especially within the insurance domain, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enhance and support core systems, including L400/GASIA, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Manage and optimize database operations using DB2, including writing queries and improving performance.
- Integrate and maintain messaging systems such as IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, QA, Infrastructure) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in system testing, UAT support, and production deployment activities.
- Document technical specifications, system flows, and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security policies.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AS400 (IBM i) development.
- Strong proficiency in COBOL, including program structure, file handling, and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 and strong understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience working with IBM WebSphere MQ or similar messaging systems.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, business processes, and terminology is highly preferred.
- Experience with L400/GASIA core system is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
