QA Automation Engineer  

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.

• Strong experience with Playwright for web automation testing.

• Experience with Maestro for mobile automation testing.

• Experience with Allure Report for automation test reporting.

• Good understanding of QA methodology, test planning, test scenario design, and

defect lifecycle.

• Able to write automation scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, or other relevant

scripting languages.

• Familiar with API testing and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API

testing, or similar tools.

• Familiar with Git, branching strategy, and code review process.

• Able to debug failed automation tests and identify whether the issue is caused by

test script, test data, environment, or application bug.

• Able to work with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.

• Good understanding of selectors, DOM structure, wait strategy, test data handling,

and test isolation.

• Able to create clear test documentation and automation reports.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Able to communicate issues clearly with QA, engineering, and product teams.

AI Capability Requirement

The candidate is expected to be able to use AI tools to improve QA productivity.

Expected AI capabilities include:

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to

help write automation scripts.

• Generate Playwright and Maestro test scripts based on test scenarios or PRD.

• Use AI to refactor automation scripts into reusable and maintainable components.

• Use AI to debug failed tests and identify possible root causes.

• Use AI to generate test data, edge cases, negative scenarios, and regression test

coverage.

• Use AI to create test documentation, test summaries, and release testing reports.

• Understand how to validate AI-generated scripts instead of blindly using them.

• Able to review, correct, and improve AI-generated automation code.

• Understand risks of AI usage, including inaccurate scripts, missing assertions,

unstable selectors, and false assumptions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation or Software Testing, including test automation, functional testing, API testing, defect tracking, and SDLC methodologies.
