Android Developer  

Location: Placement in one of our clients in South Jakarta Area (Insurance Company)

Working System: Full WFO

Employment Contract: PKWT/Contract (12 months)

Experience Level: Middle Level

- Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) or Associate's Degree (D3) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an Android Developer.
-Strong proficiency in Kotlin is a must. Experience with Java is also a plus.
- Android SDK: Deep understanding of the Android SDK, Android Jetpack libraries, and core Android components (Activities, Fragments, Services, etc.)
- UI/UX: Proven experience with building Android UIs, including custom views and complex layouts.
- Architecture: Practical experience with modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM) and state management.
- Data Handling: Experience with local data storage solutions (e.g., Room) and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git and standard development workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- App Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to define and implement new features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI).
- Testing: Develop and implement unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the applications.
- Performance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues to optimize app performance and responsiveness.
- Maintenance: Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve application functionality and user experience.
- User Interface: Build responsive and adaptive layouts using XML and/or Jetpack Compose that work across various Android devices and screen sizes.
