Testing Engineer  

Contract Type: PKWT/Contract (3 months, extendable)

Industry: Placement at Banking Industry

Working System: Full WFO

Key Responsibilities:

Build Automation Frameworks: Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks for backend services, REST APIs, and gRPC endpoints using Go.

Write Code-Level Tests: Write native Go integration, contract, and end-to-end tests utilizing Go’s native testing package alongside popular libraries like testify or gomock.

CI/CD Integration: Integrate your test suites into our automated deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure zero-downtime, continuous testing.

Root-Cause Analysis: Partner closely with developers to debug failing tests, analyze Go application logs, isolate bugs, and verify hotfixes.

Performance Testing: Write scripts to load-test and stress-test microservices, ensuring our systems handle high-concurrency workloads smoothly.

What You’ll Need (Required Skills)

Bachelor's Degree (S1)

Testing Expertise: 2+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or Backend Testing Engineer.

Golang Knowledge: Hands-on experience writing or testing code in Go. You should be comfortable reading Go backend code, understanding goroutines/channels, and writing test scripts directly in Go.

API Ecosystems: Strong experience testing backend architectures, including RESTful APIs and gRPC networks.

Modern Tooling: Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and source control (Git).

Database Basics: Ability to write SQL queries to validate data states across database layers (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
